I recently redesigned an interior design web portfolio using the latest front-end technologies.
Background
Iʼve worked with Peggy since 2009 to showcase her interior design work on the web. The site features an photo gallery with multiple albums, some text pages, and a contact form.
Photo gallery
The photo gallery is the most important feature of the website. Iʼm using Cloudinaryʼs platform and API to get the full resolution images and the smaller, transformed thumbnails. Yet Another React Lightbox then shows the images in full screen.
Design
Iʼm using Tailwind CSS and Radix Colors for the CSS and color palette, respectively. I also optimized the site for mobile.
Tech stack
The site is an Astro application hosted on Vercel. Iʼm using Formspree to handle contact form submissions.
